Minister Otis Moses, Associate Minister

Areas of Ministry: Minister Otis Moses has served as an Associate Minister since April 29, 2007. He also teaches in the Youth Bible Study Ministry. Blessed with a gift to sing, he delivers songs for our Lord Jesus Christ with body, mind and spirit while serving on the Mass Choir and Male Chorus. Minister Moses had previously served as Chairman of the Trustee Ministry for 19 years, Vice-Chairman for Budget and Finance, and the Usher Board.
 
Education: Min. Moses graduated in 1967 from Hillside High School, Heath Springs, SC. He acquired a Master Mechanic Certification in 1986 from a technical mechanic school in Jessup, MD, and has completed additional mechanic training at Prince George’s Community College.
 
About me: Min. Moses has been a member of Southern Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for 45 years. He has served as an Associate Minister since April 29, 2007. Min. Moses has owned and operated a successful automobile repair services business since 1982 in Washington, DC, and relocated it in 2013 to Clinton, Maryland. Minister Moses was blessed and married to Deborah Moses, on December 24, 1996 by Pastor Fields. In March 2006, he was called to preach and studied under the leadership of Pastor Welton Fields, and executed his official sermon in April 2007. His profession of faith and love for the Lord is expressed in one of many favorite scriptures: Act 10:42 “He commanded us to preach to the people and to justify that He is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead.”
